Kayla Brown

Kayla Brown is an attorney at Kublan Khan PLC where she primarily practices family law. She believes that the practice of law is a calling and feels privileged to be able to advocate for others.

Ms. Brown graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law where she worked extensively with victims of domestic abuse through the legal clinic. Ms. Brown also has experience in criminal law after working with indigent individuals in need of legal services.

Ms. Brown is passionate for helping and advocating for families and children. She concentrates her practice on child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, domestic protective orders, Special Immigration Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, equitable distribution, and other family law related matters.

Ms. Brown is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

During her free time, you can find Ms. Brown reading a book, concentrating on her Spanish lessons, baking delicious goodies, volunteering in her community, or traveling.
